Subjective: Was pleasantly surprised at our last visit to this seemingly hole in the wall Thai restaurant, so we decided to bring our nephew who was visiting from out of town for dinner, and we were not disappointed! Serves pretty standard Thai fare in addition to specific Northern Thai cuisine. I got the pad see ew, and this may be my favorite variation of it yet with its distinct, smoky wok taste flavor. In addition, this was our first experience having "khao-soi," delicious Thai curry soup, and "Anchan aka butterfly pea tea," which is like a customizable lemonade- extra points for its lovely deep blue color!

    Objective:
    Date of visit: 8/23/2019
    Previous visits: once prior
    Takes reservations/call aheads? yes
    Parking: free street parking
    Perceived capacity: small
    Perceived atmosphere: casual
    Wait time to seating: none
What I/we got: pad see ew, jerky appetizer, Thai iced coffee, papaya salad, butterfly pea teax2, Chicken drumstick Khao-Soi
    cost: $65.75

Assessment: 5 stars, standard Thai fare but with elevated flavors and even more palatable prices.

Plan: I think we found our go to Thai place in our new neighborhood!

This is my go to Thai, both for delivery and sit down grub. They're consistent and quick with deliveries -always fresh, just made, reasonable, tasty.
Sit down restaurant is small, family feel, always just about perfect. Love love their noodle dishes; pad Thai, pad whatever it is with flat noodles and broccoli, more.
Everybody's got to have a go to Thai. This is mine.
    Like that.

Pretty pretty pretty good for a tiny little Thai restaurant on Burbank Blvd and Whitsett. Not big on ambience but the food is a solid B+!  Service not as impressive as the chicken sate, pad Thai and Tom yummy gai. Take out is better than dining in. Much better than anywhere else in the hood

I love this neighborhood Thai restaurant and the waitress is getting to know me well! My fave is the pad Thai with shrimp and egg whites instead of yolks. I was here on Thursday too and had the chicken sate and Tom yum soup. All good!!

Pictures that were on yelp got us there.  All the food we ordered was good, but they could have been a bit more flavorful and special.  We felt something was missing to be amazing.  Yet, we had a great time and service was awesome! :)

I'm so happy because I found the best Thai food in the valley. My old standby, Sri Siam, has disappointed me the last three times I went there. And the previous restaurant that was in the same location, Inthanon, had gone downhill towards the end. So my expectations were low when we went to Chiang Mai last night.

We ordered the pad seew noodles, green curry, pad prik King, fried rice, and Khao soi noodles. These are the basic standby dishes by which our family of 4 judges whether a Thai restaurant is good. And I'm so happy to say that everything was so delicious. The curry and the Khao soi noodles were flavorful, creamy (I hate watery curries where they don't use enough coconut milk), and nuanced. The pad prik king was boldly spiced, the pad seew had the right balance of sweet and salty, and the fried rice was just right.

Please don't ever change anything, so that we can come back here for years and years. Highly recommend!
